Official presentation of Prof. Marcin Magierowski, the Winner of The Rising Star Award took place during United European Gastroenterology Week 2024 in Vienna (Austria).
Prof Magierowski presented a lecture: Persulfation: A missing key in fundamental and clinical approach to oesophageal pathologies.

The Rising Star Award (by United European Gastroenterology) is dedicated for outstanding researchers in basic, translational and clinical science in the field of gastroenterology, to further evolve their careers. Award is selected based on a track record of international quality research and developing scientific independence.

At the event, our colleagues Dr. Edyta Korbut, Dr. Urszula Głowacka, and Aleksandra Danielak, MD, presented three research topics representing the GaMEG Lab Team’s ongoing work.
